An Unplanned Weekend in London (2025)
Nothing has gone to plan this year, and sometimes that can be great, but you need to plan for the unplanned, which I didn’t do for this recent trip to central London.
Scott Barker Photography

Eyup! I’m Scott Barker.
I’m a Sheffield-based photographer with a kick for Urban and Street photography. I take my camera with me everywhere I go and take photos of anything that catches my eye.
I currently have a goal of visiting every major city and town in the UK and documenting them as they change over the years. I also have several ongoing projects, such as Strange Doors, a series of photographs that capture doors that lead to unknown places, long-forgotten side doors to shops, or abandoned buildings and retail units that haven’t seen tenants for some time.
I am also on the lookout to join photography groups and collectives in and around the South Yorkshire area, so please get in touch with me if you like what I do and are looking for a new member.
My printshop is in progress and will be added to the site soon, so keep an eye out or join my mailing list to be notified when it is ready to open. At the moment, I can only offer 4″x6″ prints by request.
Click the button below if you’d like to learn more about who I am and the story of how I got into photography.

This website is currently under active development and more content will be coming soon, so please keep an eye out, or subscribe below to be notified when things are ready.

Apple recently, and unbeknownst to me, announced that they are ending support for their AirPort range of devices next year with the release of macOS 27, and that news just hit me like a brick.
Since getting back into photography, I have been wanting to get some of my photos printed, and for Christmas I got the Canon Selphy CP1500.
My recent trip to Liverpool. My ways, my route, my shots, and my thoughts.
